Costa Rica Retreat

OCTOBER 2026

About the Retreat

At Tierra de Sueños Lodge & Wellness Center, we’ll spend our days flowing through yoga, playing with partner acrobatics, and learning the art of Thai massage. Each practice is designed to ground you in your body, deepen your connection with others, and expand your capacity for joy.

Between sessions, you’ll have time to explore Playa Chiquita’s unspoiled coastline, snorkel among coral reefs, lounge under palms, or sip fresh coconut water while listening to the call of toucans and howler monkeys.

This retreat isn’t just about movement — it’s about presence, play, and nourishing yourself in one of the most beautiful corners of the world.

Location: Playa Chiquita

Playa Chiquita is a vibrant and international community located 6 km south of Puerto Viejo on Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean coast. Known for its untouched beaches, rich cultural diversity, and dedication to ecotourism, it’s the perfect setting for deep rest and playful exploration.

Just a five-minute walk from our bungalows, the beach offers:

  • Reefs for snorkeling with tropical fish

  • Palm-shaded spots for relaxing in the sand

  • Seasonal waves for surfing or calm waters for swimming

You’ll also find cozy cafes, local farmers markets, and delicious restaurants nearby — blending the wild beauty of the jungle with the warmth of community life.

Accommodations

Our retreat home is Tierra de Sueños, a serene jungle lodge designed with art, soul, and sustainability in mind.

  • 7 unique Caribbean-style hardwood bungalows surrounded by lush greenery

  • Each bungalow features hand-carved wood, tile mosaics, painted murals, and artistic details

  • A spacious hardwood yoga deck for our daily practices

  • A traditional rancho gathering space for meals, circles, and connection

Fresh Meals

Nourishment is part of the practice. Local chefs will prepare three fresh, vibrant meals daily, using organic and locally sourced ingredients. Expect tropical fruits, Costa Rican staples, and plant-based meals that leave you feeling energized and satisfied. All food included in your stay!

Meet Your Leaders

Brittnee Castille

Brittnee has been a devoted student and teacher of yoga, embodiment, and somatic practices for nearly a decade. Her journey began with a deep love for movement and spirituality, which led her into years of study, teaching, and eventually retreat leadership in the U.S. and Costa Rica. While completing her 200-hour Vinyasa training and 300-hour Ashtanga training, she cultivated a teaching style that weaves strength, presence, and mindful awareness into every class.

Her adventurous spirit has taken her from leading local classes in Louisiana to facilitating international retreats that combine yoga, breathwork, and community connection. Along the way, she has also explored practices like fire dancing, shadow work, and somatic healing — always bringing her students back to a grounded sense of center within their own bodies.

Lee Guilbeau

Lee has been a student and teacher of human movement disciplines since his days as an LSU undergrad and beyond. While building his clientele as a personal trainer and corporate wellness coach, he continued to follow his more adventurous hobbies which led him all over the country and abroad. Some of his most memorable activities range from national martial arts competitions to rock climbing across the globe. He found AcroYoga in New Orleans in 2011, and after a few years of regular practice began teaching Acro in 2013 in Baton Rouge. After 5 years of instruction around yoga studios, Lee opened UpTown Climbing, where he continued to inspire the Acro community and have a home for climbers in Baton Rouge.
